TURBO Website is LAUNCHED!

Finally! The Turbo website is officially launched! It’s been a large undertaking. Big props to my friend and web design John Godfrey (www.johngodfrey.net) and my editor/post supervisor Justin Lutsky for working with me on it. There’s some pretty cool content on the site including a few hidden easter eggs if you look hard enough!

We are doing our final sound mix at Todd A.O. Studios in Burbank next Monday and Tuesday! I’ll post a blog to tell you all about it.

  1. Wow, what a great trailer! Good job, Jarrett! You did an awesome job on the film, and I can’t wait to see the final productive. Your storyline is very innovative! :)

    Best to you,
    Jess

  2. TURRRRRRRRRBOOOOOOOOOOO! I’m wearing a RYU costume to the screening, bruh. I’m gonna come barefoot.

  3. Watched the short, love it! I hope you find a distrubtor for Australia, would love to see it in full!

Do you have a twitter I can follow?

  4. Hey guys, just found your movie via Kotaku, who just covered your trailer. I may cover this movie on my own site (Which provides coverage of independent and/or hidden gem movies) in the future… I like what I see so far. I have screener information there, if you’d eventually like to submit one for review.

Just got here from Kotaku after watching the preview clip, and I have to say it looks kick ass ! This is exactly what gaming movies need. A guiding light that shows them how to make one that doesnt suck ass !

    Young fighters : Check
Kick ass special moves : Check
    J- hair : Check

Yes I believe this movie has it all !!!

  6. アクションが超カッコイイ映画 Turbo…

    ネタ元はGizmodo Japanから
    Turbo The Movie
    学生の自主作成(映画学校の卒論用)の映画らしいですが格闘エフェクトが半端なく、すげぇカッコイイ感じです。

     上映時間が20分の短編で、ウェブ……

  7. I saw your short film Turbo Arena and I am amazed because it’s really good, special effects such Steet fighter (I would say Tekken kind) are great, I think it would make a mainstream film. Bravo Mr. Jarrett Conaway

  8. I agree Lili, it does resemble Tekken (having watched TURBO, and played several Tekken games years ago). The closest film I have seen that is very similar is “DOA: Dead or Alive” (also based on a game, but you needn’t play the game to enjoy it).

I highly recommend it to everyone… it’s better than most of the live-action martial-arts films I’ve seen lately, such as Dragonball: Evolution and Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.
